Just a little history , I bought 3 wind generators from 3
different companies over 18 years and they all failed in 2 to 5 yrs . On one of my trips back
to china[where I lived and worked for 22yrs ] I passed a Factory that made Wind
generators , I stopped in and had improvements made so it would be come areal marine harsh enviroment generator …and
that’s this all started ….the generators , the pvc inflatables , the solar
panels , desalinators , dorados , solar vents , hard shell dinghys ,all came
from my need to get great quality equipment at affordable pricing for myself , then the guy in the slip next to me said " Can you get me one ...and so on and so on ….[ so I thought to myself hey I
am already in china …..why not make my passion my life work ....lol ] www.botcwindsolar.com
Wind Generators :
I found out that most companies were using a standard roller
bearing , not lip sealed so I had them put in a NSK radial lip seal bearing for
harsh enviroments
Then I had them replace the buna nitrate oring with a Viton
oring for harsh enviroments
Then I had the housing mounting plates moved so the motor
was evenly balance onto the mounting bracket .......all units I brought that failed
had a severe balance problem
The housing unit I had changed to be enclosed thus improving
life
The motor ....I had them hand wound or slow wound so the
copper content is higher and will last longer
The blades were then changed to a more long lasting
composite material for longer life and to maintain balance
then I included a controller that just wires up easiliy
........
Then we placed several units on supply boats here in the
Gulf and we have had no mechinical failures in 3 yrs .We have produced around
3478 units to date .I offer a 3 yr warranty so you get the harsh marine
enviroment unit , advanced bearing by NSK , Viton oring , interior grease and
lide is by exxon mobile not CPC , protected housing unit , harsh enviroment
motor , powder coated mounting unit , composite balancedblades and a controller with switch and fuse
.....

Wednesday, PuPPJuly 18, 2012 I was looking in the mirror today and
realised the shades of gray coming out in my beard,at my feet was our oldGolden retriever “Puppy” ,
her face turned a soft white with age ,laying down beside me , flapping her tail
while laying down as only old
dogs can do, as I tell her of my plans for
today . I realised the love Puppy
has brought into our lives at the same
time I realised what she has taught the 3 M’s[ lively pirate daughters ]. Dogs can teach daughters a lot if
we teach them to listen with thier heart , mind and soul.Daughters, as very
little girls, need to internalize the deepest knowledge of loyalty, faith,
honor, respect, and of course, love. Dads may attempt to teach these virtues,
but Puppy lives it. Every
day.
Puppytaught my daughters the wisdom of living inthe moment. Even the least
important moment is important enough.
Hearing the family car pulling into the
driveway is important , exciting and a reason to investigate even if it is just
for a hug, kiss and
hello.
Feeling the rush of the wind from the car
window is important.
Getting a great big hug is
important.
Puppy taught my daughters the truth of what is not particularly
important. Morning breath. A bad hair day. Gossip.
Puppy
taught my daughters to run, play, jump, frolic. Dogs have a magical way of
nudging even our teenaged daughters into some agreeable
action.
Puppy taught my daughters the beauty of looking into big, round eyes.
The confidence of gently bathing and brushing magnificent hair. The patience of
training. And the respect of things that are living.
Puppy
taught my daughters to listen to a creature who has nothing to say. To speak her heart
to ears that absorb her every word. To fear not solitude.
Puppy
taughtmy daughters to be silly. To pour
out saved-up wishes. To love simply, yet completely. To take delight in this
love.
Puppy
is teaching my daughters about mortality. And immortality. Dogs let our
daughters know that man alone contemplates his mortality… animals who are ready
to go show no sign of doubt. Puppy isoffering my daughters the
greatest hope that we will always live in the memories of those we leave on this
earth.
Puppy has taught my daughters that love often times needs no logic. The
sweetest attraction is sometimes the strangest!
Coming from a typically normal disfunctional Irish Catholic upbringing , from alter boys to 12 years of Catholic schooling [which is why I cant spell and often use the same sounding words but I write them in wrong way ], Yes let me say this first ,my grandfather[my Pop pop ] was my hero, mentor and a complete charater in every way , my Father was the finest man I have ever met and my Mother is classicailly eccentric in a formal Southern way , this video reminds me of putting my Father [ my Pops ] and my Pop-pop on the dock with some Lonestar beer and a pocket bottle of Jagermeister or Paddy's Irish whiskey and the two of them yelling instructions out to me on how to sail a sunfish and then a Laser and then a lightening ......then a Catalina 22.....I love it
